ABSTRACT
Advanced microwave technologies constitute the foundation of a wide range modern sciences, including quantum computing, photonics, spintronics, etc. To facilitate design chip-based devices, there is an increasing demand for state-of-the-art microscopic techniques capable characterizing near-field distribution and performance. In this work, we integrate Josephson junctions onto nano-sized quartz tip, forming highly sensitive mixer on-tip. This allows us to conduct spectroscopic imaging distributions with high spatial resolution. Leveraging its microwave-sensitive characteristics, our microscope achieves broad detecting bandwidth up 200 GHz remarkable frequency intensity sensitivities. Our work emphasizes benefits utilizing as real-time, non-destructive technique advance integrated electronics.
