ABSTRACT
Exceptional points (EPs) refer to degeneracies in non-Hermitian systems where two or more eigenvalues and their corresponding eigenvectors coalesce. Recently, there has been growing interest harnessing EPs enhance the responsivity of sensors. Significant improvements sensitivity sensors optics electronics have developed. In this work, we present a novel ultrasensitive surface acoustic wave (SAW) gas sensor based on EP. We demonstrate its ability significantly respond trace amount hydrogen sulfide (H2S) by tuning additional loss approach EP, thereby enhancing compared conventional delay line addition high sensitivity, our is robust temperature variation exclusive H2S gas. propose an innovative method for designing new generation sensor.
