ABSTRACT
Depth position highly affects lens distortion, especially in close-range photography, which limits the measurement accuracy of existing stereo vision systems. Moreover, traditional depth-dependent distortion models and their calibration methods have remained complicated. In this work, we propose a minimal set parameters based model (MDM), considers radial decentering distortions to improve systems simplify process. addition, present an easy flexible method for MDM with commonly used planar pattern, requires cameras observe pattern different orientations. The proposed technique is use compared classical techniques must be perpendicular pattern. experimental validation its showed that improved by 56.55% 74.15% Li's Brown's model. Besides, iteration-based reconstruction iteratively estimate depth information during three-dimensional reconstruction. results was 9.08% non-iteration method.
