ABSTRACT
The twisted kagome family comprises a spectrum of configurations, that can be realized through the sweep single configurational degree freedom known as twist angle. Recently, it has been shown certain pairs configurations along this are linked by duality transformations and display matching phonon spectra. In work, we introduce an inter-cell connection system spreads lattice in dimension orthogonal to tessellation plane. resulting 3D character allows us entirety angle spectrum, including all compact featuring overlapping triangles that, strictly 2D space, forbidden. Duality provides precious guidance interpreting availability floppy mechanisms arising one-to-one correspondence with their expanded counterparts. Our focus is on configuration corresponding null angle, where degenerates chain. From perspective chain, several local connections between neighboring cells play role non-local long-range interactions We demonstrate experimentally some peculiar behavior results from such non-locality, selective activation sequences informed direction loading.
