ABSTRACT
We introduce deterministic benchmarking (DB), a protocol designed to identify the interplay of coherent and incoherent errors overlooked by randomized (RB) related methods. DB provides set four parameters that characterize both in single-qubit gate set. Furthermore, reveals asymmetries performance induced strong relaxation ($T_1$). experimentally demonstrate using superconducting transmon qubit support these results with simple analytical model master equation simulations. Our findings uncover critical missed conventional RB point strategies mitigate errors.
