ABSTRACT
A compact energy-recovery linac (cERL) has been un-der construction at KEK since 2009 to develop key technologies for the linac. The cERL began operating in 2013 create a high-current beam with low-emittance stable continuous wave (CW) superconducting cavities. Owing development of critical components, such as DC gun, cavities, and design ideal transport optics, we have successfully established approximately 1 mA CW operation small emittance extremely loss. This study presents details our experimental results achieving 100% energy recovery loss during stable, operation.
