ABSTRACT
Wireless communication between road users is essential for environmental perception, reasoning, and mission planning to enable fully autonomous vehicles, thus improve safety transport efficiency. To collaborative driving, the concept of vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) has long been introduced industry. Within last two decades, several standards have developed based on IEEE 802.11p cellular standards, namely Dedicated Short-Range Communication (DSRC), Intelligent Transportation System G5 (ITS-G5), Cellular- New Radio- Vehicle-to-Everything (C-V2X NR-V2X). However, while there exists a high quantity available publications concerning V2X analysis different only few surveys exist that summarize these results. Furthermore, our knowledge, no survey provides an about possible future trends challenges global implementation V2Xexists. Thus, this contribution detailed their performance, current applications, associated challenges. Based research, we identified research gaps provide picture domain.
