ABSTRACT
Background: Aerobic physical exercise influences several aspects of diabetic pathology, including cardiomyopathy development. The experimentally-induced rat model has contributed to advances in this line research. Objective: aim the present study was examine effects moderate aerobic training on metabolic, histological and ultra structural myocardium experimental rats. Methods: Wistar rats were divided into 4 groups, sedentary control (SC), trained (TC), (SD) (TD). Diabetes induced by Alloxan (35 mg/kg b.w. i.v.). program consisted swimming 5 days/week, 1 h/day, supporting a load 2.5 % body weight for weeks. At end period, sacrificed blood collected determinations serum glucose free fat acids (FFA). histological, histochemistry aspects. Results: increased FFA concentrations histoquimical alterations myocardium. In other hand, able restore alterations. Conclusion: conclusion alloxan-induced diabetes promoted some recuperates these
