ABSTRACT
Recently, identification of fungi have been supplemented by molecular tools, such as ribosomal internal transcribed spacer (ITS) sequence analysis. According to these morphological Exophiala species was newly introduced or redefined. This study designed investigate the phylogenetics based on ITS analysis from clinical isolated in Korea. The strains were 4 isolates phaeohyphomycosis agents kept department dermatology, Dongguk University Medical Center(DUMC), Gyeongju, Korea. The DNAs total 5 extracted bead-beating method. Polymerase chain reaction region using primer pairs ITS1-ITS4, done and phylogenetic tree contributed sequences Korean including E. dermatitidis CBS 109154 comparative related deposited GenBank. The 3 dermatitidis, 1 strain jeanselmei new species. Among subtypes (type A, B, C) jeanselmei, DUMC 9901 belonged type B. Of 2 main types B) A (A0, A1 A2), two (E. 709.95, 109154) A0 subtypes, 9902) subtype, respectively.Phylogenetic provided useful information not only for but subtyping origin
