ABSTRACT
Background: It has been suggested digital mucous cysts (DMCs) are associated with osteoarthritis and osteophytes in the elderly, usually have a communicating pedicle joint.Surgical excision is standard therapy high cure rate.Objective: The purpose of this prospective study to evaluate features DMCs via clinical, radiological pathological examination efficacy surgical DMCs.Methods: Between 2010 2014, 24 Korean patients were treated resection cyst pedicle.Preoperative X-ray ultrasonography performed detect presence osteophyte connection joint space.Postoperative patients' satisfaction score was assessed by visual analogue scale (0∼ 10).Results: found 15.8%.In ultrasonographic findings, there prominent flow signals between space 13.6%.There no serious postoperative complications, recurrences observed 16.7%.Mean 8.3.Conclusion: seems that preoperative for not always helpful treatment DMCs, ligation electrocoagulation an effective modality.(Ann Dermatol 29(1) 69∼ 73, 2017) -
