ABSTRACT
Image analysis has an increasing role in the identification of individuals forensic application. Beside bones, microstructural arteries can be used age estimation study. Aorta is largest elastic artery which consists many fibers. Elastin arterial wall highly resist to chemical and physical influence. The purposes study were quantify fibers tunica media each location aorta examine correlation between by using image program. A total 36 human aortas dissected 4 locations. obtained from cadavers with range 20 90 years. Specimens stained Elastic Van Gieson staining. Histological images investigated about light microscope cellSens program was for evaluation data. results showed that mean percentage density ascending aortic arch increased. However, decreased 31 40 years group thoracic abdominal continuously until 81 highest (r=0.732) followed aorta, respectively. Changes add information purposes.
