ABSTRACT
There has been recent interest in intelligent vehicle technologies, such as advanced driver assistance systems (ADASs) or in-vehicle information (IVISs) that offer a significant enhancement of safety and convenience to drivers passengers. However, unsuitable design HMI (Human Machine Interface) must increase distraction workload, which turn the chance traffic accidents. Distraction particular often occurs under heavy driving workload due multitasking with various electronic devices like cell phone navigation system while driving. According 2005 road accidents Korea report published by Road Traffic Authority (ROTA), more than 60% are related error caused distraction. This paper suggests structure environment for real-time behavior monitoring is can be used management (DWMS). On-road experiment results showed feasibility suggested system.
