ABSTRACT
Chronic health conditions are accompanied by low-grade systemic inflammation and increased blood concentrations of pro-inflammatory cytokines, such as tumor necrosis factor (TNF).Blood levels soluble receptors for (TNF) can influence functional performance in patients with chronic fibromyalgia, obstructive pulmonary disease, Chagas disease. However, a gap remains regard to the association between biomarkers conditions. The aim this study was verify TNF conditions. One hundred forty-six volunteers (52.4 years, 49.8% males) were assessed 1 (sTNF-R1) 2 (sTNF-R2) performance.Simple multivariate linear regression, adjusted body mass index age, used appropriate.High sTNFR-1 plasma level associated lower regardless BMI adjustment (R2 = 0.235; β -0.380;p 0.000) or age 0.763; -0.148;p 0.002).High sTNFR-2 high 0.147; p 0.001).In brief, low predicted reduction approximately 76.3% conditions. Thus, findings showed that TNFalpha determinants conditions.
