ABSTRACT
The Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use Technology (UTAUT) is a fairly developed model. Like any model, however, it has limitations, mainly in its relationship between the intention use behavior. This paper will attempt to explain influence external factors that potentially inhibit or facilitate performance behavior, as well effects propensity act on determinants toward for action. Based UTAUT we added precipitating events measure effect (such government policy, financial crisis, new market) IT innovation adoption examined moderator usage hypothesized condition where high, taking action be more predictable. data used test hypotheses were collected from varied spectrum Malaysian industries entrepreneurs (SMEs owners). A total 1,000 businesses identified questionnaires distributed person by authors, 420 completed returned. research model structural equation modeling techniques, current study validated entrepreneurship context while showing expectancy, effort expectancy social all positive influences behavior intention. Facilitating conditions are important variables determining origins innovation. results confirmed moderating Results indicated can capture behavioural take action, improve fill - behaviour gap. shows significant life
