ABSTRACT
Abstract. Litter size is one of the key factors affecting efficiency sheep breeding, and previous studies found that HRG, FETUB, GUCY1A1 genes were closely related to litter in sheep. This experiment aims explore polymorphisms g.405442728A>G locus HRG gene, g.421655951C>T FETUB g.414050897G>C gene their association with size. The MassARRAY® single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) genotyping technique was used detect these loci five breeds, i.e., Small-tailed Han sheep, Hu Cele black Sunite Bamei mutton In addition, between also analyzed. results showed moderately polymorphic (0.25 < PIC <0.5) both monotocous polytocous breeds; lowly (PIC <0.25) ≤ low four other breeds <0.25). chi-squared test Hardy–Weinberg equilibrium state (P>0.05). g.421655951 C>T (P>0.05) disequilibrium (P<0.05). analysis had a significant impact on (P<0.05), while no summary, can be as potential molecular markers for selection
