ABSTRACT
Safe and efficient management of the constantly growing air traffic is an important task. For that reason, international civil aviation organization (ICAO) approved Automatic Dependent Surveillance (ADS) system used to share information (e.g. position, altitude speed) between aircraft control units. This improves situational awareness visibility but also environmental impact space capacity. Both applications ADS, Broadcast (B) Contract (C), rely on satellite-based communication navigation services, which can be significantly disturbed by weather impacts loss signal position errors). Therefore, related are observed for ADS records especially during extreme events. We will present such both, ADS-B ADS-C, with first results from analysis covering periods solar flares geomagnetic storms. discuss challenge differentiating other influences. Finally, we give outlook how monitoring these could contribute services.
