ABSTRACT
Abstract. The paper tries interpreting how the method of SMOS observations realizes managing problem large scales and target heterogeneity by means employing polarization angular signature. Land surface on Earth is naturally heterogeneous in its continuity physical biophysical properties. Soil moisture (SM) retrieval from data requires using model CMEM to determine relations between temperature brightness water related properties conditions, which are anchored ground auxiliary data. SM must start conditions at least approaching reality. performs fusion NRT (Nearly Real Time) a very specific way, what new quality added EO (Earth Observations). demonstrates several effects retrievals L1C Authors explain they validate few selected test sites Poland, come conclusions choosing strategy focused validating single sites. Finally, an understanding that advanced statistical requiring good referencing based scales, worth confronting shallow content obtained assessments total continental available gravitational missions.
