Background: Skeeter syndrome is a significant allergic reaction to mosquito bites, leading intense local inflammation and systemic symptoms. This condition often misdiagnosed as bacterial cellulitis. Understanding its pathophysiology, presentation, management crucial for proper diagnosis treatment, particularly in children immunocompromised individuals. Methods: A systematic review was conducted using Scopus, Cochrane, PubMed databases, focusing on studies from the last 25 years. Keywords included 'Skeeter syndrome,' 'Mosquito bites,' 'allergy.' From an initial pool of 38 articles, 15 were selected detailed after removing duplicates. Results: characterized by severe reactions, including swelling, redness, itching, with potential symptoms such fever vomiting.
