Linguistic and cultural aspects of modern studies of the semantics of the word (on the material of the synonymic series родина – отечество – отчизна in the novel by F. M. Dostoevsky “The Idiot”)

The article is devoted to the research of nature synonymous relations, which was carried out based on disclosure cultural concepts embedded in language. In this case, words entering into relations are a means realizing concentrated understanding collective experience. On material explanatory dictionaries, an analysis coincidences lexical meanings series родина – отечество отчизна made, implementing concept “the place where person born”. contexts use these F. M. Dostoevsky’s novel “The Idiot” were identified and analyzed using continuous sampling method. found that synonyms express same differently. This confirmed by identification zones semantic vibration, is, contextual points contact synonyms, meaningful distance between them formed. study being context, cannot be semantically equal because they have different content.
