ABSTRACT
Paclitaxel (PTX) obtained from the bark of Taxus brevifolia (Pacific yew tree) is a well-known potent drug used for treatment breast, lung and ovarian cancer. PTX stated to be novel antimicrotubule agent. acts by assembling microtubule tubulin dimmers stabilizing microtubules prevention polymerization. Thus it affects cell division cancer cells interrupting spindle formation. on application in shows have low aqueous solubility use vehicles like Cremophore EL ethanol, which hypersensitivity reaction. So reduce toxicity due these three main dosage forms are seen developed chemotherapy researchers throughout world. Namely; Nano-Particle Approaches, Liposomal approach, Solid Dispersion approach. Nanoparticles utilized purposes decreasing minimizing adverse effects molecules enhancing release. Liposomes capable containing more amount long term stability, reduction when compared other form. dispersions effective methods particle size improve solubility. can that developing efficacious important.
