ABSTRACT
The RDA-SHARC (SHAring Reward & Credit) interest group is an interdisciplinary volunteer member-based set up as part of RDA (Research Data Alliance) to unpack and improve crediting rewarding mechanisms in the sharing process throughout data life cycle. Background objectives this are reported here. Notably, one promote inclusion activities research (& researchers) assessment scheme at national European levels. To aim, RDA-SHARC-IG developing two grids using criteria establish if compliant F.A.I.R principles (findable /accessible / interoperable reusable) based on previous works FAIR management (Reymonet et al., 2018; Wilkinson E.U.Guidelines*): 1/ self-assessment grid be used by a scientist ‘checklist’ identify her/his own pinpoint hurdles that hinder efficient reuse his/her all potential users. 2/ two-level (quick/extensive) evaluator assess quality researcher/scientist practice, over given period, taking into account means support available period. Assessment classified according their importance with regards FAIRness (essential recommended desirable) meanwhile good practices for critical steps. implement highly fair process, appropriate must selected order design optimal generic grids. This requires participation, time input from scientists producers/users various fields.
