ABSTRACT
The objective of this research was to evaluate the productive performance, carcass quality, and intestinal biometry European quails (Coturnix coturnix coturnix), kept under cyclic heat stress (air temperature 32.5°C±0.5) receiving a ration with different concentrations (0, 2.5, 5, 7.5%) seaweed meal Sargassum sp. A total 240 were used, distributed in completely randomized design 4 levels bran inclusion, 6 replications, 10 birds per experimental unit. An analysis variance (ANOVA) performed, means compared by Tukey's test 5% probability subjected regression PROC REG SAS® (2002). No similarity observed water feed consumption between treatments. There significant difference most variables studied, only occurring dorsum, gizzard, large intestine. Therefore, it is recommended include up 7.5% sargassum diet 12-h cycle (32°C±0.5).
