ABSTRACT
Wettability of a carbonate reservoir is one the key points concerning oil recovery. Most reservoirs tend to be oil-wet. An oil-wet wettability generates significant problems in recovery since formation has stronger ability keep attached its pores, and it also decreases efficiency water flooding leading faster breakthrough. alteration wet have demonstrated successful method enhancing through chemical such formations. Wettability, IFT (Interfacial tension), temperature, are all parameters that effect on process. Different processes chemicals been tested study contact angle It essential understand correlation between value brine injected with degree alteration, order assemble an optimized solution for by finding value. In this paper, outcrop samples from Jabal Fuwayrit Qatar (considered similar representative North Field formation) were used make comparative followed Spontaneous imbibition different composition employed. We studied non-ionic cationic surfactants sea further enhance Comparison results obtained leads better understanding appropriate selection injection optimal The significance can easily demonstrated. at will great importance expanded type reservoirs, giving cost-effective, fast functional
