ABSTRACT
Abstract The history of epilepsy is probably as long human race. It estimated that 6-7% population suffer at least one seizure some time in their life, between 0.5-1% Population from active epilepsy. Drug treatment even when successful only suppressive, since none the drugs ls curative. Surgical approach, hence more logical it would eliminate cause seizures. In pediatric age group, need or early surgery greater frequent activity interferes with neuronal migration, leading to mental retardation. For several years small number patients were offered surgery, however, advances neuroimaging studies and development new surgical techniques have enabled Us deal lesion eloquent areas, without any major problem.
