ABSTRACT
Information on wood volume is essential in forestry activities, especially the sale of products. However, measuring solid during a harvest period challenging. The viable parameter for measurement stereo volume, which refers to stacked quantity wood, including empty spaces between logs. volume–cubic (solid) ratio, influenced by taper, uniformity, and size trees, needs be obtained. In most cases, if field tester does not choose reference value, result less than reliable. this work, an algorithm presented that estimates stereo–cubic relationship from forest inventory tree stacking data. It was implemented Visual Basic Applications (VBA) simulate virtual log stacking. Its accuracy evaluated three trials: first second eucalyptus stand third bamboo stand. Implementing calculation methods, errors ranged -12.34 8.33% cubing factor -8.94 15.64% factor, degree reliability requires high level because impact buying selling. easy use but further validation harvesting areas.
