ABSTRACT
Objective: The synthesis and structural study of a new acid decavanadate compound with monovalent inorganic cation. This makes contribution to family. Methods: the was carried out by evaporation at room temperature. Good quality crystals were chosen for single crystal x-ray diffraction using polarizing microscope. Hirshfeld surface analysis, in particular dnorm fingerprint plots, is used decode intermolecular interactions structure studied compound. Results: A compound, Na 2 [H 4 V 10 O 28 ]·14H O, synthesized characterized X-ray diffraction. crystallizes triclinic system cell parameters are: a=11.282(5) Å, b=10.424(3) c=8.502(1) α=112.81(2)°, β=87.25(2)°, γ=111.49(5)°, V=852.4(5) Å3 Z=2. formula unit formed an acidic group ] 2- , (H O)10 2+ dimer four molecules water. ten distorted VO 6 octahedra interconnected edge sharing.
