ABSTRACT
Aim: The aim of this study was to compare radiation doses target volumes and critical organs among prone supine positions for left-sided breast cancer patients who were treated with breast-conserving surgery adjuvant radiotherapy.
Materials Methods: evaluated by using dose-volume histograms on the new radiotherapy plans twenty patients.
 Results: mean heart dose lower in position (mean 656cGy 933cGy respectively p = 0.01). Mean lung 396 cGy 1032 (p =0.01); V5 13% 33% V10 8% 25% V20 5% 17% =0.01). Conclusion: Considering that normal structures may reduce side effects, be preferred left cancer.
