ABSTRACT
Introduction: assessment of intravascular volume is an important component in care hypovolemia. Physical examination inaccurate tools the volume, leading to need for more objective method and accuracy tool. Aims: prediction Validation Shock Index, Modified Central Venous Pressure Inferior Vena Cava collapsibility index Assessment Intravascular Volume. Methods:-This study was conducted as cross-sectional, observational on 150 Egyptians patients attending Emergency Room with hypovolemia state (systolic blood pressure 100 beat /min capillary refill >2 sec. clinical signs symptoms suggestive any types shocks.) all enter resuscitation room once they arrive ER. With Applied resuscitations guidelines methods treat life threading conditions if present participants. Results: The studied revealed negative correlation between CVP value (SI MSI) but positive IVC-CI value. And mean 3.2 ± 2.2 IVC was74.9 10.5%. MSI has 100% sensitivity 98% specificity,CVP specificity diagnosis when > 1.3 ,≤ 8 cmH2O ≥ 50 % respectively. Conclusion: diagnostic management hypovolemic determining (greater than 50%) inferior vena cava by bedside ultrasonography conjunction common markers predictors e.g. Index Pressure.
