ABSTRACT
Objectives: HSG is an invasive diagnostic procedure that involves the radiographic evaluation of genital system after injection a radiopaque substance from cervical canal in infertile women. Preemptive intravenous ibuprofen commonly used for postoperative pain management. However, only limited number studies have reported use short-term painful procedures. This study aimed to investigate effectiveness management during HSG. Materials and methods: A total 91 patients planned undergo due infertility were included prospective, randomized, double-blind study. Patients assigned into two groups: group (group I, n = 43) control C, 48). About 30 min before procedure, 800 mg 100 ml saline infusion was administered group, whereas starting procedure.
