ABSTRACT
Methamphetamine abuse continues to pose a significant public health concern globally, with numerous adverse effects on various body systems. is common drug of misuse in Nigeria. It derivative amphetamine, an enantiomer ephedrine potent addictive and majorly central nervous system (CNS) stimulating property. We present 30-year-old female history chronic methamphetamine who presented the emergency department Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH), Nnewi, symptoms consistent disseminated intravascular coagulopathy (DIC). Despite intensive inpatient management, patient's condition rapidly deteriorated within 17days duration. This case highlights intricate interplay between use development DIC, emphasizing importance prompt recognition appropriate management mitigating outcomes.
