ABSTRACT
Helicobacter pylori gastritis is an infection frequently observed around the world. In our research, effect of positivity on depression and somatosensory amplification was investigated. The research included a total 112 patients with dyspeptic complaints, 52 positive 60 negative, healthy control group 54 cases without any complaints. Participants completed Beck Depression Inventory Somatosensory Amplification Scale. There no levels (p=0.116), while had significant (F=6.794; p=0.010; η2=0.40). were effects complaints (F=6.695; p=0.011; η2=0.039) (F=7.554; p=0.007; η2=0.044). It identified that amplification, sex family history each statistically explanatory variables for (p=0.001 β2=0.255; p=0.038 β2=0.150; p=0.002 β2=0.230). 0.269 increase in 1-unit female increased by 2.463 units it 4.949 units. not found to be variable (p=0.412). While did have depression, effective amplification. presence both one factors predicting important factor Mental diseases should ignored during monitoring treatment this patient group.
