Breast cancer knowledge and attitude among Jazan Women, Saudi Arabia

ABSTRACT
Objective: To assess the knowledge and attitudes toward breast cancer among women in Jazan region Saudi Arabia. Methodology: This cross-sectional descriptive community-based study with aged 20 over was conducted of We used structured interviews Arabic by authors. The questionnaire consisted questions related to women's demographic information. data were analyzed using statistics. Results: Out 567 women,68.8% Saudi. Most had age 20–30 years. Among respondents, 9.5% a family history cancer. Media news sources most common source information (79.5%). Study showed that 57.3% an unsatisfactory overall However, large proportion respondents positive attitude Conclusion: Women lower than expected. They relatively highlights need for comprehensive well-planned educational programs women.
