Analysis and modeling of adult male body shape aged 25–45 by CLO3D software

ABSTRACT
This study conducted body shape research on 175 males aged 35–45 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The aim was to develop accurate and intuitive analytical models classify different types. team utilized various statistical tools, such as descriptive analysis, principal component k-means clustering, discriminant analysis—all supported by SPSS software—to identify the most reasonable classifications. results identified 5 common shapes: U-shaped, Y-shaped, V-shaped, O-shaped, D-shaped. To enhance visualization of these groups, created representative shapes based 30 parameters analyzed through CLO3D software. approach helped capture distinct characteristics each type study. also integrated anthropometric indicators BMI, WHR, DROP analyze group. Focusing analyzing holds significant importance for fashion industry, designers can create clothing that meets preferences a wider range customers. It helps individuals age group surveyed increase awareness their bodies choose clothes suit them. In addition, support other fields medicine ergonomics.
