ABSTRACT
The use of high-volume intra-oral suction(HVIOS)is effective in reducing droplets and aerosols during dental treatment. However, there are few reports on the effects different uses HVIOS aerosols. We examined differences generation with HVIOS. teeth were scaled ground. number associated was evaluated by settle plate sampling, aerosol particle measurement, high-speed camera photography. bacterial colonies front dentist significantly reduced when a placed at left side mouth compared to it not used. In tooth grinding, care workers' side, group which used had largest preoperative postoperative for all sizes, followed those labial maxillary anterior teeth. Photographic images did show white foglike spreads near dentist's other usages. suggest that is reduce large particles scaling prevent exposure workers cutting tooth.
