ABSTRACT
Objectives: To find out from an analysis of empirical data the levels influence, which a labor union (LU) and Occupational Safety Health Committee (OSHC) have in reducing occupational injury illness rate (OIIR) through their accident prevention activities manufacturing industries with five or more employees. Methods: The used this study are Tendency survey data, Accident Compensation productivity sales for years 2003 to 2007. By matching these three sources final set (n = 280) was developed analyzed using SPSS version 18 (SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL, USA). Results: It found that workplace LU has lower OIIR than one without LU. In employees 2007, workplaces 0.87%, while much at 0.45%. addition, established OSHC had those OSHC. Conclusion: is Moreover, usually without. may impact on management performance because negatively correlated sales. long run, will be reduced when workers employers join forces recognize safety health necessary, not only securing rights workers, but also raising productivity.
