Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection is under global attention due to its rapid spread and high rate of morbidity mortality. HIV gets an access into the mucosa genital epithelium through binding Langerhans cells. While viral load CD4+ cell count are main parameters detect disease activity, new biomarkers introduced as a potential parameter for monitoring activity in infected patients.
