ABSTRACT
Background: Subclinical Hypothyroidism (SCH) is defined as normal serum free thyroid hormone levels coexisting with elevated Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH) levels. SCH a common condition observed in clinical practice several unique features. The present study was conducted to find prevalence of subclinical hypothyroidism patients myocardial infarction and demographic differences between without SCH. Materials Methods: A total 100 Myocardial Infarction Adult (age > 18 years) males females were selected from the attending Medicine OPD, IPD or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) GMC, Azamgarh. Clinical examination, laboratory investigations for infarction, status lipid profile done all our study. All Patients TSH values 10mU/L < 0.04mU/L Known cases Thyroid abnormalities excluded Statistical analysis using excel SPSS software. Results: Out 44 MI had hypothyroid rest 56 euthyroid. In both groups no statistical difference seen type infarction. There significant (p<0.05) group compared euthyroid group. Conclusion: more Euthyroid although similar groups. Males
