ABSTRACT
Aims: This study aims to obtain a stem bark extract of Rhinachantus nasutus (L.) Kurz through the application ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE) and reveal: total phenolic content in extract; The extract's potential as an antioxidant with copper-reducing strength parameters, its antidiabetic by inhibiting alpha-glucosidase activity. Results: crude ethanol R. obtained from UAE process was 7.4896 g yield 4.99%. high content, namely 677.3343±0.0007 mg GAE / sample, activity test using CUPRAC method gave IC50 value 18.43±0.20 L. In addition, has ability inhibit enzyme 10.95±0.28 Conclusion: source antioxidants antidiabetic.
