ABSTRACT
In recent times, it has been proofed that industrial revolution, urbanization, inadequate provision of facilities,poor urban management and poverty were the determinant environmental condition city dwellers. thispaper, sanitary environment residents Ijora Badia was investigated. Some thesanitary conditions data involving sources drinking water, cooking, method waste disposal, typesof toilet facility, drainage system road collected through questionnaires, personal interview,direct observation focus group discussion. The research population based on total number existingbuildings from which numbers household head determined 5% headpopulation taken for interview. Findings reveal 65.5% residence water isthrough vendor aggravated borne diseases, 93.1% cooking isstove cause respiratory disease among households. paper suggests other things allstakeholders in built should see to welfare facilities orderto make life comfortable functional slum
