ABSTRACT
Background: Kidney transplantation remains the best possible solution for patients with chronic kidney disease, providing better long-term outcomes and drastically improving quality of life. However, it comes its own set risks. The use immunosuppressives following renal transplants has been shown to increase development malignancies infections, occurrence post-transplant is now third most common cause death in transplant patients. This involves multiple mechanisms, including carcinogenic tendency some immunosuppressive drugs, along induction promotion by certain viruses. quantification Cancer risk must be made an integral part overall management patients, appropriate follow-up screening needs adopted. Kaposi’s sarcoma, lymphoma, non-melanoma skin cancers have a greater incidence. If malignancy develops immediately after transplantation, may transmitted from donor; donor-transmitted donor-derived tumours differentiated based on two-year time limit. Immunosuppressive medications tendencies, reduced immunological control oncogenic viruses, poor immunosurveillance remain important factors. gravity this situation further exacerbated fact that not only there increased developing these period, but prognosis also worsened when compared non-transplant All centers should therefore adopt multidisciplinary approach early detection prompt treatment, improve transplanted
