ABSTRACT
This paper deals with the operational efficiency of companies engaged in production wooden chairs using selected statistical and DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) methods. Indicators that typically characterise supply chain were taken as input output variables for method. They included three variables: inventories, material costs services one variable: company’s net profit. The obtained coefficients correlation pointed to a high degree between variables, which justified performance an analysis study 12 chairs. results conducted analyses show only company had relatively satisfactory (efficiency coefficient 0.83) nine-year period. All other companies, especially micro small enterprises, unsatisfactorily low efficiency. Micro enterprises lowest efficiency, 0.14. Small reached value 0.3, large 0.67. Medium most favourable up 0.83.
