ABSTRACT
Introduction:Forearm fractures are very common in paediatric population with incidence around 1 100.1 The of shaft forearm bones is more 6-16-year-old children, higher children between 12-16 years age 2. Forearm older difficult to manage as they tend occur comparatively proximally and have tendency redisplacement even after a successful closed reduction 3,4.Hence management such cases requires internal fixation devices TENS.There various methods both children.Historically, gold standard Abstract injuries children.In their due high chances re-displacement reduction. Aim:The aim present study was assess the clinical radiological outcome managing using TENS special reference movements at wrist, elbow, time taken for union. Materials Methods:A total 30 patients group 5 15 were managed by prospective follow-up done six months. Results:On final evaluation terms symptoms range motion adjacent joints Andersons criteria, Price criteria union results, we had excellent outcomes 90% good 10% patients.There no significant complications except superficial pin tract infections entry site nail only patients. Conclusion:We conclude that all potentially unstable grossly displaced should be approached surgically treated it an effective minimally invasive method results bony functional minimal complications.
