ABSTRACT
To study the effect of various extractants on structure peat humic acid, acid was extracted using NH3·H2O, Na2CO3, NaHCO3, and Na2SO3 via alkali-extraction acid-precipitation methods. The characterized ultraviolet−visible (UV-vis) spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) fluorescence (FL) spectroscopy. results showed that had negligible effects content acids. Na2CO3 found to be most effective extractant for isolating acids from peat, with highest 66.20% a yield 32.67%. Moreover, among used, NH3·H2O resulted in aromaticity, yielded higher number hydroxyl groups. NaHCO3 aliphatic ether lowest aromaticity. best having content, degree aromatic polymerization, carboxylic
