ABSTRACT
The subject of global climate change is great concern due to the accumulation greenhouse gases (GHGs) in atmosphere, primarily carbon dioxide (CO2). United States ranks as second-largest contributor CO2 emissions globally, accounting for almost 15% total emissions. primary States' combustion fossil fuels generate power, provide heat, and facilitate transportation. Nevertheless, intends decrease by substituting with ecologically sustainable green energy sources. This study aims analyze effects consumption, economic growth, globalization, urbanization on States. It utilizes annual time series data from 1970 2022. Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) predictions indicate that a 1% increase globalization would result reduction 0.44% 0.61% short term, 0.76% 1.45% long term. there direct correlation between rise growth corresponding Specifically, short-term, 0.59% 0.56%, while long-term, 0.29% 0.20%. findings validate urgent need higher proportion renewable mix. To achieve this, it be necessary promptly portfolio standards besides implementing additional aggressive cleaner goals. Furthermore, imperative advocate promotion trade performance fostering partnerships different nations development collaborative research initiatives, sharing specialized knowledge, stimulation innovation fields practices.
