A new species of the snail-case caddisfly, Helicopsyche (Feropsyche) imperial Silva-Pereira, Desidério, Pereira & Hamada subgenus (Feropsyche), is described and illustrated based on adult males from a protected preserved area in Cerrado biome Federal District, Central West Region, Brazil.
