ABSTRACT
The current demand for vehicles with high fuel efficiency, which has improved their safety, as well enhanced crash worthiness qualities is being met by the use of high-strength components fabricated via hot stamping process. Most Al-Si coated layer applied to prevent oxidation and decarburization caused this During laser welding, diluted in fusion zone segregation, ferrite formed some areas, causing deterioration mechanical properties. In paper, we provide a comprehensive review weldability improvement Al-Si-coated boron steel from various aspects. Three main solutions have been form full austenitization zone; removing layer, inducing strong austenite stabilizers, introducing new welding process such arc pre-treatment, dual-beam oscillation welding.
