ABSTRACT
To evaluate the survival rate and long term clinical outcomes of hybrid total knee arthroplasty (TKA).We retrospectively analyzed 113 TKAs (NexGen) in 86 patients that were followed for more than 10 years. Kaplan-Meier curves generated using revision as an end point. Knee Society Score (KSS) range motion evaluated assessment plane radiographs used to implant problems. At 11.2 years (range, 12.2 years) follow-up on average, 7 knees required revision. The reason was aseptic loosening 4 (1 femoral tibial component 3 only) infection knees. 93.8% at 12 all knees, 96.5% when septic excluded. KSS improved from 29.3 91.5 Cruciate-Retaining type (CR) 21.5 90.3 posterior stabilizing (PS) latest follow-up. average 120.6° 133.8° CR 119.5° 135.5° PS type.Hybrid TKA provides good rates results comparable cemented TKA.
