ABSTRACT
With thousands of exoplanets now identified, the characterization habitable planets and potential identification inhabited ones is a major challenge for coming decades. We review current working definition planets, upcoming observational prospects their present an innovative approach to assess habitability inhabitation. This integrated method couples first time atmosphere interior modeling with biological activity based on ecosystem modeling. here applications asses likelihood impact methanogenesis Enceladus, primitive Earth, Mars. Informed by these solar system situations where inhabitation questionned, we show how can be used inform design future space observatories considering Earth-like around sun-like stars.
