ABSTRACT
Background: Studies are limited on the relationship between vitamin D levels and liver fibrosis in patients with hepatitis B. Objectives: A study was conducted to investigate 25-hydroxyvitamin stiffness Methods: In a cross-sectional study, serum stiffness, measured by transient elastography (TE), were evaluated 281 The predictors of its level, coinfection D, age, viral load determined using multivariate analysis. Results: significant correlation observed deficiency stiffness. Based analysis, factors that independently associated advanced included level (P < 0.001), age 0.001). Among patients, frequency (< 10 ng/mL), insufficiency (≥ 20 adequacy 30 ng/mL) 40 (14.2%), 150 (53.4%), 91 (32.4%), respectively. Conclusions: B fibrosis. An increase also directly related
