ABSTRACT
"In the absence of earthquakes, seismic stations continuously record Earth's vibrations, called ambient noise (ASN). The main concern regarding ASN records is improving data quality using different tools developed especially for this purpose. Power Spectral Densities (PSD) and their corresponding Probability Density Functions (PDF) are used to evaluate station performance reveal level at station’s site. For high frequencies (>1 Hz), sources from cultural activities show diurnal variation, while low (<1 generated by natural shows seasonal variation. In study, we analyzed vertical components Bucovina array network (BURAR) characterize levels investigate variations in space time. We computed four-year spectrograms some elements that revealed an increase 2–5 Hz frequency range during warmer seasons, contrary colder months. On other hand, lower (0.5–1 power increases year’s examined relationship between weather parameters (e.g., wind speed) where sensor collocated, with a station. observed speed leads (> 2 Hz)."
